1300 Numbers Explained

1300 Numbers and 1800 Numbers - The Difference

Network Description:

Both 1300 numbers and 1800 numbers are described as inbound services hosted on an inbound network. Other networks include outbound, mobile, satellite, Voip etc.

Virtual Numbers:

Both 1300 numbers and 1800 numbers are described as virtual numbers because they "piggy-back" other network services such as landline, mobile, Voip, Voice2Email, Fax2Email, Live Answer etc.

Real Difference:

1300 and 1800 numbers only differ in call charge types.

1300 caller connection fee: Yes, at the cost of a local call to anywhere across Australia.

1800 caller connection fee: No connection fee for a 1800 caller.

However, mobile callers calling into a 1300 or 1800 number may be are charged by their own mobile network.
